Property and rooms were is a little tired, cleanliness of stairwells etc not 100% but grounds were well maintained. Great breakfast!

One night then Prices were suddenly raised i don't know why so i leave the hotel.

Amenities and the cleanliness of the room wasn't good. The room I stayed in had two kinds of pillows and the sheets didn't look it was cleaned well and wasn't pressed for sure

Although the property is a lovely one and the location is also excellent, poor communication regarding our booking, messed up our stay at the hotel. The hotel blames booking.com, and I don’t see anyone taking the responsibility for the miscommunication! Quite disheartened by the customer orientation displayed by a star class hotel.

The staff were very courteous and the food was very good. Excellent facilities.

The ridiculous Poya day rule which stops alcohol being served. Imposing religious views from whatever religion on tourists is nonsense. Fundamentalism in any form has led to the atrocities we see in the world. Please make exceptions for tourists who do not subscribe the local views

Room allocated was very far from the restaurants. Only one lift area. In room service had long delay. Cold and not hot food was served after reminder.

Nice location. One of the most beautiful beach views from rooms. Breakfast buffet was good.

Bathroom hand shower was not working. Bed sheets were not super clean. Dinner Buffet is lack of varieties. Should add more international foods to it.

rooms had a good view. Some quite photographic spots. Tip- They should’ve booked only exactly the numbers they can handle.

To begin with the check was one hour and fifteen minutes delayed. Would have been later if I did not go to the reception and inquired. The excuse for the delay in processing our check in was that they did not have vacant rooms. And we were not the only people there waiting. There were at least 30 more people all seated in the lobby downstairs. As compensation they promised us one extra hour before checkout, BUT on the check out day they called us at 10 am and reminded us that our check out time is the usual, then I asked what happened to the additional hour promised before check- in , the person over the phone from the reception said it is the routine check out policy and can’t help that it they took them extra time to get us a room. And that PEOPLE are waiting to check in which was really funny. And there were no bathrobes, bedroom-slippers, shower-caps or even toothbrushes and laundry bags. We had to request. But upon request we were told those are only for VIP bookings. I said the booking.com site said all those are included for a superior room. And got slippers and toothbrushes and a shower cap which they provided very reluctantly. Then on check out we came for lunch after checking out as early as they asked and figured out the lunch buffet is full , crowds were disappointed and there were about 200 people in the buffet inside already and about 150 waiting outside. We somehow got in for lunch at 1.30 pm. Floors were very slippery and a old man fell on his buttocks right in front of us while coming for check out food was quite average. But I would not complain as the place was cheap. Not suitable for a five star hotel for sure.

Food is great. All ok, except check in and check out. We suppose to check in at 12.30, but 2 rooms checked in at 2.30 and 1 room at 3.30. They told me check out will be smooth and will give extra time. But requested us to leave at 12. But i managed to get half an hour extra.

Everything was perfect and smooth. Pool was really clean. Rooms were comfy and clean. Food was delicious. Specially the dinner. Had an amazing time.

Got an fake (probably scam) email offer for upgrades . When I asked the reception , he said they are not aware about it. But the email was sent to me by citrus waskaduwa via booking.com
